The new and improved GOSTRAP Tennis Elbow Support offers an innovative Australian design to the traditional lateral epicondylitis elbow brace. The GOSTRAP is the all-purpose support for lateral epicondylitis (Tennis Elbow) and medial epicondylitis (Golfer's Elbow or Thrower's Elbow) injuries and pain. Not just for tennis players, the strap provides amazing support in all elbow positions for sport, work, or play. GOSTRAPS can be used by painters, plumbers, construction workers, cooks, butchers or any other person that performs repetitive activities involving twisting of the wrist and forearm that can lead to medial or lateral epicondylitis or tendonitis.
The GOSTRAP's patented design unloads injured soft tissues, tendons, and muscles in the forearm and elbow. The circumferential strap acts as an 'anchor' and the patented semi-elastic GOSTRAP acts as a 'tie'. The two straps work together with injured tendons and soft tissue, thereby carrying part of their load and releasing their tension. This simple but effective design finally solves the problem of how to provide an anchor and tie support without the use of sticky, rigid sports tape.
The GOSTRAP Tennis Elbow Support includes a patented elastic GOSTRAP that provides a counterforce in the exact opposite direction to the wrist extensor tensile forces. Rather than applying a counterforce indirectly via friction in immobilized tissue, this support is intended to provide a direct counterforce via an additional support strap. Consequently, the "anchor" does not need to be as tight as usual and the support can be worn comfortably and effectively for long periods as required and indicated.
The GOSTRAP can be hand washed in soapy water and air-dried.

To obtain the proper sizing and maximum benefit from your GOSTRAP, measure around the widest part of the forearm and compare your size to the chart below. The GOSTRAP is universally designed to fit either a right or left elbow and is available in three sizes to fit most individuals (Small, Medium, and Large).
|AVAILABLE SIZES||Forearm (inches)||Forearm (mm)|
|Small||6.5" to 8.5"||162 to 212mm|
|Medium||8.5" to 10.5"||213 to 262mm|
|Large||10.5" to 12.5"||263 to 312mm|
Q. Can I use this tennis elbow strap for golfers elbow too?
A. Tennis Elbow pain usually occurs on the outside of the elbow where golfers elbow pain tends to hurt on the inside of the elbow. Both of these conditions are repetitive overuse injuries of the elbow and forearm. A GOSTRAP may be able to help both injuries by applying a counterforce to the muscles and tendons pull at the elbow combined with a reduction in vibration intensity and soothing compression.

Helping with Golfer's elbow
The strap was purchased due to elbow pain, sometimes called golfer's elbow. I have been wearing it for 10 days now and it seems to help. The strap arrived on time and I'm pleased with the results so far.

Helps my elbow, but runs a little small
This is it. It really helps my elbow. That's what all of the other elbow braces needed the second strap to hold the elbow in place. It did mess up my shot since my tennis elbow is in my right arm (right handed). But I was able to grab boards and keep my dribble without cringing in pain in basketball. The only problem is my elbow is pretty big and the strap doesn't stay on for too long I have taped it on now and it works better

Velcro Issues, but good product
I bought the largest size you have, and I'm not a bodybuilder by any means. I think this is a design flaw. The velcro hook is rather small for the amount of pressure you would put on it by stretching it firmly, but moreover, the velcro itself seems to be just the standard quality. It would be better served with the extra-strength hooks. I have a similar elbow brace that is wider and uses the better-grade hooks, and there is no problem. What I plan to do is use that brace with the upper-arm brace, and use the thinner one on my other elbow that doesn't need as much support. No worries, I like the product and give it a positive review, but that might be something to look into from a design standpoint. I think the velcro hook strip should be twice as long and use the higher-grade velcro.
