Q. What is the benefit of the horseshoe patellar buttress?
A. The removable horseshoe buttress adds an additional feature to this brace that provides adjustable patellar control and stabilization. It can be moved and oriented to each individual patient's needs.
Q. Explain the popliteal cutout option?
A. The popliteal space is the area located in the back of the knee. This brace has an option for the sleeve to have continuous material in the back of the support (No Pop Cutout) or have the back of the knee cutout (with Pop Cutout). Usually, this option is up to an individual's preference and comfort. Some individuals like the added compression with no cutout while others prefer the popliteal cutout version that reduces bunching up of material behind the knee.
