Cryo/Cuff Knee with Cooler

The Aircast Knee Cryo/Cuff with Cooler cryotherapy system combines the therapeutic benefits of both cold and compression to provide pain relief and minimize knee joint and tissue swelling, edema, and damage following trauma, rehabilitation, or surgery. The Knee Cryo/Cuff features an anatomically designed knee wrap that allows complete coverage and treatment of the affected area. When filled with ice cold water, the wrap instantly decreases pain and provides compression to reduce swelling in and around the knee joint.

In research studies cold-compression therapy resulted in less post-operative and post-injury swelling, decreased pain, earlier return to full range of motion, lower consumption of pain medications, and faster return to function. The enclosed wrap and cooler is easier to use and more beneficial than leaky ice packs and compressive elastic wraps and bandages.

Each Cryo/Cuff wrap is part of an interchangeable system that allows the cooler to be used with any wrap attachment. The cooler holds enough water and ice for 6 to 8 hours of cryotherapy treatment. The detachable portable cooler and simple cuff use and application allows for treatment in the hospital, athletic training room, home, work, sideline, or while traveling.

The Knee Cryo/Cuff with cooler is available in three sizes for adults and is also available in a pediatric size, designed for injuries to children 1 - 7 years of ages. Each complete Aircast Cryo/Cuff Knee System includes a knee wrap, cooler, attachment hose, and insulation disc. Additional wraps are available separately as well as the AutoChill System an accessory to the Cryo/Cuff cooler that automatically exchanges the water between the cooler and cuff and eliminates the need for manual water recycling.
